The weathered rock of Nanya
Affected by the seasonal wind from northeast and eroded by sea water. The Northeastern coast of Taiwan has many unique rock formation. The weathered rock of Nanya is one of the phenomenon. The rock contains iron, after weathering, the iron inside the joint begin to oxidize. Revealing the reddish color. The rock also happen to be eroded like bamboo shoot or ice cream. The special shape and color of Nanya rock has been attracting its visitors.
